Teresa Seldomridge
With over 35 years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels, I bring both a strong classical foundation and a passion for nurturing creativity in each individual learner.
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Shenandoah University Conservatory of Music and completed extensive study in Music Education at Concord University. Over the course of my career, I have taught private piano lessons, group studio classes, theory, and preschool music groups, as well as directed annual student recitals and festival participation. My performance background includes work as a soloist, accompanist, ensemble musician, and church organist.
As a longtime member of MTNA, VMTA, and other professional organizations, I am committed to maintaining high standards of music education. I believe that lessons should be both structured and joyful, giving students the skills they need while encouraging a lifelong love of music.
