Nancy MacLachlan
Nancy began her teaching career under the mentorship of her teacher, Donna Frazer Gobin, in Kingston, Ontario.
She did her undergraduate study at Queens’ University, in Kingston, and graduate work in harpsichord and early piano under Margaret Fabrizio at Stanford University in California.
She has an interest in early music education, and has one masters in Orff Schulwerk music in the classroom and another in music for dance.
She is active in promoting the work of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools in the mid-Atlantic region, and prepares students for musical assessment on the instrument of their choice.
She has raised three children, all of whom studied music, and all of whom still use their music in their adult lives.
