
Martha Molinaro
Martha Molinaro is a freelance flutist and educator from Falls Church, Virginia who teaches flute and piano at Potomac Music. She graduated from George Mason University with a degree in flute performance, where she studied with the esteemed flutists and educators Laura Kaufman Mowry, Julianna Nickel, and Dr. Jennifer Lapple. Martha has performed along the East Coast in places and events such as the Aria Summer Festival, Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention, Carnegie Hall, and the D.C. Bach Festival. She has placed in multiple competitions such as the 2025 Flute Society of Washington’s Masterclass Competition, and co-composed an award winning score for a short film, Surrender, in 2023. Currently, she plays with the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra and Live Arts Maryland as both a member and a soloist.
