
Anni Wang
Anni Wang has been actively performing as a solo pianist
and teaching private lessons throughout her music career.
She holds a Master's Degree in Piano Performance and
Pedagogy with an emphasis in Injury-Preventive Keyboard
Technique from Salem College in North Carolina. She earned
her Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University in
New Brunswick, Canada. She is a certified teacher of the
Lister-Sink Method from The Lister-Sink Institute.
Anni has presented with Dr. Barbara Lister-Sink at
conferences hosted by the Music Teacher National
Association (MTNA) and the International Society of Music
Education (ISME). She also presented at a conference hosted
by the North Carolina division of MTNA and has been a
presenter and guest artist for universities in Turkey and
Peru.
Her piano lessons provide students with a positive learning
environment to experience and explore music in a fun way.
She believes in playing the piano with a healthy and well-
coordinated piano technique to maximize musical artistry.
Her studio teaches a wide range of students, from beginning
players to experts at the university level. She also helps
pianists prevent potential injury, retraining injured
keyboardists via the Lister-Sink Method. She is also familiar
with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music
(ABRSM) and The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) exams
for students who seek music certifications. Anni Wang
believes that the combination of a positive learning
environment and progression-oriented learning experiences
are key to achieving successful piano learning.
