Kindermusik Summer Playdates
Kindermusik Playdates are themed, 45-minute one-time music and movement classes designed for children ages 0–7 and their caregivers.
May 27th: Zoom Buggy for babies ages 0 - 12 months - Welcome to Zoom Buggy! How many ways can Baby zoom? Hop in the Zoom Buggy and find out. Through a variety of songs, chants, and instrumental selections you will discover that Baby can enjoy rumbling, squeaking, chugging, bumping, vrooming, swooshing, and more. What Baby sees from the buggy is so important.
June 14th: Join the Parade - Everyone loves a parade, march along to the music as we explore the woodwind family of instruments AND percussion too! Forte and piano take center stage in movement and ensemble development, with favorites like the Piano Forte Dance, I Like to Play the Sticks, American Dance, and Yankee Doodle - we have lots of marching to do!!
July 24th: Let's Go Camping Together - Join us as we go for a pretend hike, catch bugs, watch birds, build a campfire, and roast marshmallows!
We'll also talk about all the important jobs needed to set up a camp as we pretend to unpack the car, gather wood, lay out the sleeping bags, and put on our hiking shoes.
August 16th: Hello Weather, Let's Play Together - Hello, Weather, Let's Play Together playdate encourages children and their families to get outdoors and share time together in all types of weather! Children will explore the connected, smooth sounds of legato and the separated sounds of staccato. They will learn about fast and slow tempos. In addition, the Kindermusik ankle bells and rain shaker will help children develop steady beat and enhance creative musical expression.
