Kourtney Ellis

Kourtney Ellis is the current Choral Director at Brooke Point High School. She earned her degree in Vocal Performance and Theatre Arts from Alabama State University.

Kourtney’s passion for performance and education has taken her across the country. She toured nationally with the Missoula Children’s Theatre, performing in beloved productions such as Pinocchio, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Johnny Appleseed.

Her stage credits include standout roles such as Sophie in Flyin’ West, Aunt Esther in August Wilson’s Gem of the Ocean, and Princess Winifred in Once Upon a Mattress.

With over 17 years of combined experience in teaching and performing, Kourtney continues to inspire students through the transformative power of music and theatre.
