Karl Lyttek

Karl Lyttek has enjoyed classical music and composition since the first time he picked up a guitar.

Since 2017, he has been sharing that love through teaching classical guitar to both adults and children.

While encouraged by his long-time teacher and mentor to pursue a degree in music, he chose to follow his other passion: computer science.

In fact, he enjoys combining the two disciplines while composing new material and creating tracks to support other’s projects.

A long-term member of a classical guitar ensemble, Karl enjoys performing both established classical pieces such as Bach and Villa-Lobos as well as his own works.

He is looking forward to sharing the discipline and joy of classical guitar to students at Potomac Music.
