We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator to support our Sales Manager. This hourly part time position will require 25-30 hours of in-person work each week.

Summary/Objective: The Program Coordinator will support the Sales Manager with facilitating, managing, and growing the various music lesson programs, instrument rentals, and retail sales.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work well with a diverse population of families
- Develop a professional rapport with students and parents of students by engaging in effective conversations and email communication
- Communicate well with other members of the studio administrative team, Sales Manager, and owners to maximize the lesson experience
- Proficiency in G Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Self motivated and goal oriented
Core Competencies:
- Ability to effectively read daily calendar using the provided scheduling software.
- Ability to answer questions about our program both in-person and over the phone
- Proficiency in basic consumer math
- Excellent grammar and spelling
- Ability to use technology (text, email, Slack, scheduling systems, HubSpot, etc.) effectively to keep lines of communication and compliance open with clients and staff.
Work Environment: In-person with sitting and standing in an office environment. Must be able to lift 10 pounds
Position type and expected hours of work: Part-time W-2 employee that facilitates music lessons, retail sales, instrument rentals, and an exceptional customer experience. Hours are weekday late morning/afternoons, evenings, and some weekend hours. Summer schedules may vary and some earlier morning hours may be required.
Required Education, Experience, and Abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of higher education and pursuing graduation if still in school
- Outgoing personality and patience to clearly communicate with students and families of all ages
- Reliable, responsible personality
- Previous work experience in a music studio or music retail store
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Background in music strongly preferred
- Previous experience in an office environment or retail sales
