We are currently seeking counselors for our wide variety of Summer Day Camp Programs.

Summary/Objective: Summer Camp counselors make our programs fun, inclusive, engaging, and joyful for all through attentive support and care.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work well with a diverse population of children ages 4 - 14
- Ability to manage camper behavior
- Ability to communicate with lead teacher, other camp counselors, the Lesson Program Coordinator, and the Camp Coordinator
- Ability to keep campers safe throughout the day
Core Competencies:
- Ability to effectively read daily calendar
- Ability to answer questions about our program and communicate with caregivers
- Excellent grammar and spelling
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Dependability and reliability
Work Environment: In-person both indoors and outdoors. Camp Counselors will sit, stand, and move throughout the day. Must be able to lift 10 pounds
Position type and expected hours of work: Seasonal, part-time W-2 employee. Work hours vary by camp type but are typically 9AM - 3PM Monday - Friday.
Required Education, Experience, and Abilities:
- Minimum two (2) years of high school education and pursuing graduation
- Outgoing personality and patience to clearly communicate with students and families of all ages
- Reliable, responsible personality
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Background in music preferred
- Previous experience working with children

Hours are 8:45AM - 3:15PM M-F

Piano Express Camps: 3 Counselors each week (music background preferred)
Weeks of June 24, July 8, July 29, August 9
Hours are 8:45AM - 3:15PM M-F

Kindermusik Camps: 1 Counselor each week (background in early childcare preferred)
Weeks of June 17, July 15, August 5
Hours are 8:45AM - 12:45AM M-F

Musical Theater: 2 Counselors (background in music preferred)
Week of July 15
Hours are 8:45AM - 3:15PM M-F
