A child of musicians, Fiona’s earliest musical memories are of attending performances at the Státní Opera in Prague, Czech Republic, and trying to pick out the melodies she heard there on the household piano between lessons.
Having studied piano and singing since early childhood, she completed the entire curriculum set by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music by the time she finished high school.
After studying humanities at George Washington University, she decided to go back to school to focus on music performance and has since been awarded a DipABRSM in 2015.
She specializes in teaching beginner students, focusing on building a solid base of musical literacy including teaching the fundamentals of music theory so that students are able to read and write musically with ease.
